Eee-gads! so so much info in both episodes took me a while to listen to both! I had taken an adult ed class on the Alexander technique many years ago for a back issue but never thought about it in relation to music so this was enlightening and I am going to read up a bit more from the links provided. Gem from Bill: “The biggest obstacle is what we do with ourselves as we are playing.” Fascinating topic and worth time listening to both episodes. And I checked out some Bennie Wallace too….wonderful tenor player who appears to be in constant physical motion so I can see the connection Bill mentioned. Thanks for a great interview!
Bill Plake is a treasure! We just had an epic 2 hour Masterclass with him in my Elite Coaching Program, where he went even more into depth on many of the topics covered in this podcast. We are still buzzing about it!
Thanks for your awesome support of the podcast, Laura 😊
